Fansipan Rose Festival 2025 in Sapa
The charming misty town of Sa Pa welcomes summer with the
opening event of the Fansipan Rose Festival 2025 on April 26.
Not just a simple flower event, this festival is expected to
breathe new life into
Sa Pa tourism, turning it into a top
destination, attracting tourists during the April 30 - May 1
holiday and throughout the summer of 2025.
As part of a series of annual events that tourists eagerly await
every summer, the Fansipan Rose Festival 2025, with the theme
"Brilliant among the clouds", will bloom at the Sun World
Fansipan Legend tourist area from April 26 to May 5. During the
three summer months, millions of gorgeous roses will bloom
together, leading visitors to explore a series of colorful
cultural and artistic activities, promising to enrich their
experience at the "Roof of Indochina".
The heart of the festival is the vast rose valley, one of the
largest rose gardens in Vietnam, spanning an area of 50,000
square meters. This place gathers hundreds of thousands of rare
rose trees, carefully selected from all over the world,
alongside ancient Sa Pa rose varieties bearing the local mark.
Visitors will be amazed by the majestic beauty of Abraham Darby,
the elegance of Society, the freshness of Catalina, the charm of
Molineux, the charm of Juliet, the mysterious black of Black
Baccarat, the passion of Rouge Royale or the romance of Spirit
of Freedom...
This year, the Fansipan rose valley is also adorned with unique
and creative miniatures. The giant rose proudly stretches out,
the rose book depicts romantic love stories of the highlands,
the poetic flower road with angel statues leading the way, the
soft artistic rose arches, along with the princess dress and hot
air balloon made from hundreds of fresh flowers...
Not only immersed in the beautiful scenery, the Rose Festival
also opens up a diverse "paradise of experiences", suitable for
all ages. The Sweet Market, inspired by the beauty and fragrance
of roses, will be a place where visitors can freely shop and
enjoy unique foods and drinks such as cool rose ice cream, sweet
rose tea or delicate cakes. In the space filled with the scent
and cool weather typical of
Fansipan, visitors can leisurely sip
a cup of tea, enjoy vibrant art performances, imbued with the
cultural identity of the highlands.

In addition, the festival also brings unique and fun folk games
such as "Carrying love to pick roses", "Northwest dance" ...
held throughout the festival season, contributing to stirring up
the atmosphere of the highlands and bringing refreshing
laughter, along with the opportunity to receive attractive
gifts.
Another special highlight of the festival is the colorful rose
carnival parade, moving from Sun World Fansipan Legend tourist
area to the center of Sa Pa town. Thousands of fresh roses are
meticulously decorated on splendid electric cars and horse-drawn
carriages, along with the participation of 300 ethnic artisans
in traditional costumes, ready to bring the brilliant colors of
Fansipan to spread throughout the streets of the foggy town.
The main space of the festival is located in the top rose valley
in Vietnam, with a scale of up to 50,000m², gathering hundreds
of thousands of precious rose bushes from all over the world
The journey to explore Sa Pa will not be complete if visitors
miss the opportunity to experience the modern Fansipan cable car
system, gliding through the white clouds, admiring the majestic
beauty of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the sparkling
terraced fields in the pouring water season. When setting foot
on the top of Fansipan, another world opens up before your eyes:
ancient rhododendron trees in full bloom on the steep cliffs,
600 stone steps leading to the majestic Amitabha Buddha statue
and the sacred spiritual complex.
Or visitors can choose the unique mountain train to touch the
"Roof of Indochina", where heaven and earth meet. In particular,
this time is also the season when rhododendron flowers bloom

Sapa is a popular and scenic way to travel Sapa, technically
ending at Lao Cai Railway Station (35 km from Sapa), followed by
a shuttle bus or taxi to Sapa town.
