At an elevation of 1,600 meters, Sapa is a delightful former French hill station situated in the mountainous region of Vietnam's northwest, close to the Chinese border. The region is home to many ethnic minority groups, each wearing traditional and colorful attire. This trip includes a trek through the hills and valleys of the Sapa region, discovering several different minorities along the way. You will experience overnight accommodation in the hospitable villages of Dzay and Tay ethnic minorities. Round off the trek with a nice stay in Topas Eco Lodge. The apparent hardships are worth it though as we walk through some of the most spectacular scenery that Vietnam has to offer and experience unique villages culture.

Night 1:  Night train to Lao Cai

Transfer from your hotel to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai. Overnight in AC soft sleeper cabin.

Day 1 : Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai (B,L,D)

AM : 7h30 arrive Lao Cai, pick up at Lao Cai Station then transfer to Sapa.Check in and have breakfast in the hotel .After lunch trek to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H'Mong tribe .Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and beautiful scenery along the way .Back to hotel for dinner and enjoy the night in Sapa town .

Day 2 : Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van (B,L,D)
After breakfast you check out and leave your luggage in the hotel, get ready for the trip .Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area .Have a picnic lunch on the way .You go back to Sapa by motorbike/jeep .Get yourself fresh with a shower in the hotel's day room before transfer down to Lao Cai Station for the night train SP2 back to Hanoi.
